Central Teaching Spaces

The Central Teaching Spaces team provide a facility for booking centrally timetabled teaching and committee rooms. Rooms can be requested for use by lecturers in order to deliver an academic teaching programme, and for use generally in connection with ad-hoc one-off events. The Service has around 250 rooms available for booking.

Room requests can be made via the web address below, by telephone, fax, email or personal visit.

School or Faculty Timetabling Officers should be consulted in the first instance to obtain room details for scheduled timetable activities. The Central Teaching Spaces staff  will be pleased to identify to staff, the names of Timetabling Officers.

The service is available Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm for telephone enquiries. You can also email or fax your request and one of the team will contact you.

You are welcome to visit our office situated in room G.007 in the Beyer Building. Please phone to arrange an appointment.
